It has been about 1 month plus in this new job.
I think time passed quite quickly, which is good.

No more viwawa thou.
We just shifted office.
I have my own desk now... but the office is really very open.
Everyone can see what i am doing when they walk through the door.
Plus my boss can see what I am doing from her desk.
This is so not good.
No more viwawa. =(

OH well.
Things has been pretty hectic recently.
Kept me busy most of the time.
Manpower was reduced.
From 4 person, we were reduced to 3, and now 2.
I seriously hope I wont reduce another person, if not i will just DIE.

I havent learn everything yet, so before my temp quit, hopefully they are nice enough to teach me everything.
I don't want to DIE after they leave.

Working till 9pm today.
Tomorrow is Good Friday!!! Finally a break from work!
But I got work on Saturday thou, and monday.
So that means:
Friday - good friday
Saturday - work
Sunday - off day
Monday - work
Tuesday Off day
Wednesday - work
Like... erm okay... whatever lah. I dont care as long as i don't need to work.

Time to pack up my stuff and go home!
Going shopping for chips.

I've finally gotten my work schedule at my new work place.
=)

So here it is:
- Monday: 10am-7pm
- Tuesday: Off day
- Wednesday: 10am - 8pm
- Thursday: 11am - 9pm
- Friday: 9am - 6pm
- Saturday: 9am - 6pm
- Sunday: Off day

Looks good to me.
Still have time for like play, and also get to wake up late.
Plus friday and saturday is normal working hours so i can still go out after that.
Not bad I guess. I really like it. =)

10 more days to the start of a new beginning in a new environment.
Not counting today, since its almost the end of the day already.
(only 9 more days, if i don't count Sunday, which I won't be working)
I pray that my new work place will be a satisfying one.
I really should find a job which I enjoy doing, so I won't be dreading work everyday and ended up quiting AGAIN.

Assistant manager, manager and senior manager are having the monthly sales meeting.
For once in the entire 10 months, I get to sit out of it.
Nothing stresses you more than sales meeting and sales target, especially if your sales is practically ZERO.

Its weird how I enjoyed my last month here as much as I enjoyed my 1st.
Its stress free now that I know I have nothing to do with sales targets anymore.

I'll be dealing more with annoying parents starting next month.
Maybe I will enjoy it. I hope.
Really really hope.

Of course I'm looking forward to start work next month.
I'm real excited actually.
The traveling distance is MUCH SHORTER.
I'll probably need less than half and hour to get to my work place.
I can leave home half an hour before, instead of 1 hour and forty minutes.
Something which I haven't get to do for a long time.
After all, school at tampines/sentosa is hardly counted as near.
Internship is redhill is not that close either.
I can save so much more on transportation.

There are other things that are positive, like I get to wake up late for 2 working days, since work will only start at 12pm.
I will also get 1 weekday off, so I can go weekday shopping when the malls are empty.

Work is a bore now.
I'm doing nothing important other than helping my assistant manager with her stuff.
Making travel booklet, doing proposals, doing powerpoint, doing luggage name tag...
Nothing stressful really, so I don't really mind.

I just signed the resignation form thingy.
Looks like I still have 1.5 days of annual leave.
Going to use it for this friday and saturday.
Its a little bit of a short notice though.
Its not approved yet... so... oh man.

Sheryl is leaving on 21 Feb.
I'm so gonna miss her.
My one and only shit buddy. >.<
I hope I dont start crying when we go send her off.
I'm damn bad at this kinda departing/separating scenes.

But on a better note, I had fun during chalet.
Even though its just a one night thingy, and I was too tired to join Sheryl, Hazel, Candice and Chaplin for sunrise.
I hope we have more time like this in the future.
Maybe a small chalet would be cosier?
Gosh.. 3 bedrooms, 2 bulcony, 3 toilets, 1 kitchet, 1 playroom, 1 tv room 1 huge living room.
Hahaha so kua zhang.
We should go for a smaller one the next time. =)

Meet up with a few girls for a short dinner session yesterday.
With faces I haven't seen in a LONG LONG TIME.
Like Noreen and Chua Qing.
Havent seen Caron and Yanjing for some time too.

Dinner at CA. Dessert was good, and so is the company.

Despite the ever changing environment, its glad to know that some people never change.
In a good way of course.

Time can dift people apart, but I hoped it makes relationships stronger.

Went for an interview just now in the morning at IBM.
Its a little far.. but I think the job scope and the environment should be pretty interesting.
I think I wouldn't mind trying to work there.
Provided that they want me.
So see how bah!

Now I'm back at work since 1pm.
Took AM half day leave for the interview.
I can't believe how slow the time is moving!!!
Its only 4pm.

I just tender offically, formally. whatever.
I just left my resignation letter on my senior manager's desk while he is out for lunch.
I'm opting for an easy way out.
Hopefully he doesn't need to speak to be about this.

I wrote my resignation letter just like 30 mins ago.
Like Candice said, it was real easy.
But I have no idea whether I wrote it correctly or not.

Searched for resignation letter format in yahoo.
Wrote like 4 lines.
Printed with company's paper and printer.
Sealed in up with company's envelop. >.<

Or at least thats what I will be after next month if I still don't find a job.

I'm freed!
I feel relief that I don't have to think about cold calling and how much I really hate it.
At least I feel happier now that I know it will be over in a month time and I will no longer have to worry about sales target.
The stupid sales target.
And the stupid sales that I can never get.

I just told my assistant manager yesterday after she came back from her meeting.
It took me a lot of courage to do it.
I have no idea how i should say it and no idea how i should open my mouth to tell her.
But my assistant manager definately made it easy for me.

She's real understanding about it.
Even asked if I've found a job, and ask about my family's respone to this matter.
I don't think I will ever get a better in-charge.

I really like it here, but I think sales is really not my foreit.
So I'm off to find something more suitable.
Not sure what is going to happen in the future now that I'm J-O-B-L-E-S-S.
Kinda like an uncertain future.
What if I cant find a job?
What if I hate my future job?

But I'm feeling good for now.

1st day of work in 2009.
The fact thats its 2009 haven'e dawn on me yet.
Feel nothing.

Cold calling is a failure today since the companies I've tried calling are either not working today or the person in-charge is on leave.
Assistant manager is coming back on monday, which is bad, because I haven't done much for the past 2 weeks.
There really isn't much things for me to do anyway since so many people are on leave.
Oh well.

I think I might have just close my first deal.
Not really a deal, but whatever.
Accounts person going to Taipei during March, so I helped her to booked a hotel room with our agent rate.
Not earning any profits from it.

So anyway I am suppose to earn $10,000 in 3 months, so I am slightly closer now.
Think I can not earn any profits in 3 months as long as i sell something.
So if friends out there is going for a holiday, need hotel room/air ticket, you can look for me.
I should be able to get you a cheap cheap agent rate.
LIMITED TO FRIENDS ONLY. No guarantees but I can try to help you ask.

I watched 4 movies in a week!
Twilight, Yes Man, Australia, and The Day When Earth Stood Still.
I can't decide which is my favourite, but Reeves' movie is definately out of the picture.

The Day When Earth Stood Still is like a typical Alien movie.
Not a lot of high and low.
Like you're waiting for something big to happen, waiting for the movie to hit the highest point, but it just never came. And the movie ended.
The plot is nothing interesting. Quite disappointing actually.
Its not lousy, but I can't say its good either.
The movie is trying to tell you how humans destroyed earth, but the movie didn't show how we destroy or what we have done. A weak storyline.
Its a movie where you will say, "Er, okay.." and walk out of the theatre.

Twilight is breath taking. The only word I can describe about the movie.
Edward made the whole movie worth watching.
It made me buy the book because I know it should be better than the movie.
I can't wait to read the book.
And I will read Midnight Sun's draft online, which is Edward's version to the story, and I bet it will be even better.
I hope Midnight Sun gets published.

Yes Man is hilarious.
I especially like the old woman part.
Its like a happy show and makes you happy.
I like the fact that its funny funny, and not funny lame.
Cannot stand lame shows.
Brings out what it is trying to tell, the moral of the story is to open yourself to opportunities.
Jim Carey's movies are definately a must watch.

Australia, i think its a touching movie.
Its not the typical movie storyline kind.
Storyline is good, which a bit of romance and a bit of history about World War II and Stolen Children.
I really like it alot.

Lunch at "Sheryl's restaurant", shopping at Metro Expo sales, and Popular Expo Sales.
Bought a lot of things AGAIN, but i know its good deal.
YSL lip gloss at $25 and Shu Emura Concealer for $18.
Bloody good deal. I think Metro Expo sales is so much better than the John Little Expo Sales.
Got better brands there. Wahahaha.
Sales makes me happy, but BROKE.

Its Christmas Eve!
Merry Christmas to all! =)

But I still got work today.
And its not even half day!
Its full day work! =(

But everyone is having the holiday mood.
Since where are no phone calls todays.
Everyone is like walking around and talking, or like trying to finish their work.
I don't think anyone would want to stay back to work on a Christmas eve.
Eating this Japanese butter cake from one of the colleague who just came back from Japan.
Its a little oily, but whatever, its still nice all the same.

I realize I can't do my cold call this week.
Cuz a lot of other companies are having half day off.
Either that or alot of staff will take leave or even MC this week for long weekend.
So I shall start my cold calling next week.

Its 2 more days to Christmas and 9 more days to 2009.
I don't know what to expect out of 2009, but I pray that it gets better.
I hope to find a better job, something that I would enjoy doing.
Guess thats my only wish for 2009.
I will need the whole of 2009 to clock my 2 years of full time working experience, and to save enough money to go study.
Which I deem as the IMPOSSIBLE.

I have a bad feeling that 2009 will not be a good year.
With the economy, I doubt I can find a job with good pay, finding a job might even be a problem.
So without a job, how am i supposed to save for study?
Plus its 21 next year. OMG.
I don't want to be 21.

Looking back at 2008.
Nothing too horrible happened after internship.
Nothing can beat that.
So offically ended school and offically graduated.
The end of school life and the start of work life.
Its like a phrase where you changed from a teenager to a responsible and sensible adult. Not.
I still feel like a kid working at a wrong place.
The big 20 this year.
Yup, thats about it.

I shall take one step at a time to see how it goes from here.
Other than worrying about work, I don't have much to worry about.
Now I'm just trying to get time to pass at work, earn a few more months of salary before I quit.
The pay here is really not that bad, I doubt I can find similiar pay outside.

Oh right.
The manager and assistant manager in my department are both on leave today.
So its like a freedom day with nothing to do.
The manager will be back tomorrow.
I will start my cold calling tomorrow too.
But today... lets just continue to slack.

The main line in the office keeps ringing, so I'm like the receptionist for my department now.
In the past, the manager or assistant manager will help answer the phone.
Today, since they are both not there, i guess I'm the only one who will do it.
Actually, the main line is for all to answer, so I don't get it why is the sales team (my team), always the ones answering the phone?
PLUS, the phone calls are normally not for us but for the other teams.
I just don't get it, why NOBODY answers the phone?
Its so frustrating!

Out with Hazel last Saturday for Twilight.
Its good, its like a fairytale.
Decided not to go to Kushinbo for buffet, so we have nowhere to go after movie at Tampines.
Intended to go to Plaza Singapura, but ended up at Pasir Ris Whitesands.
It was really at random since we only decided to go there just because the train heading towards Pasir Ris came first.
But it was a good decision, since I managed to find the Twilight series at Popular bookstore!
Haven't been able to find the whole set, always with 1 or 2 books missing, so I was uberly happy.
Had dinner at Manhantten Fish Market or something.
Decided that nothing can beat Fish & Co, so we are not gonna go back.

Before I can start of the Twilight series, I need to finish the 4 books which Loretta lent me, and also finish reading Harry Porter (Still got the last 3 books to finish).
Books are my latest craze.

Home early yesterday.
Because I went to Bugis to pass some proposal to my clients.
And went to a photo development shop to run some errands for assistant manager.
Went shopping at Hypothesis, bought 2 dresses.
Kinda broke, so I shall not buy anymore things. I hope.
Had dinner at home. Finally home food.
Miss mummy's cooking.

Anyway lousy p is suppose to help me buy game, which he has already been talking about it for a few days but never manage to buy it.
And also he is suppose to cook tom yum for me this weekend.
I haven't forget hor!

At work on a Saturday again.
Just had my breakfast and now trying to slack again.
Saturdays are seriously not a good time to work.

Just had a log cake and corn flakes for breakfast.
Super full, so I shall not have lunch.
Or Hazel is supposedly suppose to bring fried rice from home as lunch for me.
We are going to Kushinno Japanese buffet later for dinner, so we are really trying to ALOT of stomach and money for it.

Lousy p is going to go out today with his friends to Timbre.
So i decided we shall not meet today.
Made arrangement with Hazel and we shall go watch Twilight together later and dinner and shopping.

Hazel helped me buy a Estee Lauder blusher from the airport on staff discount.
Woo! Can't wait to see my new blusher.

So this week I already had 2 huge pieces of log cake.
Awfully chocolate-ty.
Probably getting like sore throat soon AND also FAT.
Argh!

Had company dinner yesterday at some Japanese restaurant and bar at Crown Centre in Bukit Timah.
It wasnt too bad I guess.
I sat beside the senior manager which was SO VERY STRESSFUL!
He is known to be like a little 'se', so it was quite worrying.
He likes to be surrounded by young girls. Sounds so wrong.
He tried to talk to me a few times and I just kinda ignore him.
So he changed his target and talked to another girl sitting in front of him. HA!
In the end that girl had to help him wear his specs.
Dont ask me why, I dont get it either. But its just so wrong.

My other side was a part timer same age as me.
So we kinda click, together with the accounts person who is 23, also close to our age.
So I guess it wasnt too awkward.
They are really nice people, just that I didnt get much chance to talk to them before during work.
We had fun talking among ourselves, since we are surrounded by other Japanese who are speaking in language we don't understand.
We talked in Chinese loudly and tried to cover the sounds of the Japanese with our Chinese.
It was kinda irritating I guess, since both sides are speaking bad about each other in languages which the other don't understand. Sixth sense.

The food wasnt too bad.
The beef shabu shabu, sashimi and the Japanese Style porriage was really quite good.
Accounts person got super excited about the ebi tempura, hilarious.

After dinner was like a 'lucky draw' dip kinda thing.
Inside the box there are 2 SGD $50, a few SGD $10, $5 and $2 notes.
Other than that, there are also other currencies from Thailand, India, etc etc.
Everyone gets 3 chances to put your hand into the box and picked a note where you get to keep it.
So I got 2 SGD $2, and 1 $5 United Arab Emirates note. -.-
Its not that bad la.
But I have no idea what to do with the UAE note.

That was the end of yesterday.

Last Thursday had an internal sales meeting.
Had a bad news.
Because I haven't produce any results.
So the management gave me a deadline of 3 months, where I have to get $10,000 worth of sales.
Not profits, just sales.
So if I can't hit this target, (which I probably wont), then they will probably fire me.
Seriously I'm not upset, cuz I kinda expected it.
I'm a sales person and I dont have any sales, no reason to keep me, so that I understand.
Oh well, I really dont have the sales potential.
I sucked at it and I have REAL bad luck at it.
Companies that I ALMOST got, either suddenly no people want to go, or management cut cost, or trip is cancelled.

Its time to change my working field or job anyway.
I haven't really intended to stay here for long.
Always been saying I want to quit, but time passed so fast 7 months is already gone.
Probably will quit by end of Jan, before they have the chance to fire me.
Its always better to quit yourself than to let them fire you right?
Wont look good in your resume.

Still wondering what job to do after that.
Need to clock 2 years of full time work experience before I can go to UniSIM.
Oh well. I'm sure I will find a job.
I guess I dont really mind a lower paying job as long as its not sales, and the working environment is good.

Slept late yesterday because of the dinner.
So sleepy now...
Computer still feels a little weird.
MSN can't work cause it keeps hanging, so I gave up on my msn.

Lousy p is finally back.
But we are probably not going to meet again for the next 3 days.
Sighs.

Was just learning about the new printer in the office.
Its not bad, the colour effects is really quite good.
But still not as good as the NTUC printer.
NTUC printer can punch holes and staple documents for you.
So cool.

Company dinner this friday at some Japanese restaurant in Bukit Timah.
I hope its not too awkward.

But anyway, dinner 2 days ago at Waraku with the darlings are really good.
Ladies night are so worth it.
We only spent about $12 per person.
Ate super alot and super full.
Tried something new, its not too bad, but i forgot what is it call.

Thank you for your Christmas presents!
I'm already using the cup Candice bought me.
And the notebook Sweekee gave is now in my office drawer.

Plus I am still waiting for the eye liner and hair clip that Hazel is supposely going to get me.

Gonna back track things I have done last week.
Accompanied Shirleen and Caron last Saturday for Christmas shopping.
But it feels like I bought quite a few things myself.
(Althought i dont remember what i bought.)

All the masks Shirleen bought for me from Taiwan are so heavy I almost died carrying all of them around shopping and home.
Dinner at the Big O and with Shirleen complaining all the way how horrible it was.
But I really think it was fine.
Shirleen is too used to good food. >.<
We all missed the Fish & Co in Wheelock. Randomly.

Out with the girls last friday night to timbre @ Old School.
Died walking up the long flight of stairs.
Please remind me to wear my flats when I am out with them.
Had a really good time catching up about work and school and life.

OH RIGHT.
And my computer at home totally spoil again.
It just reformat on it own or something.
Don't know what is wrong with it, and I can't use the internet which is so frustrating because then I cannot watch my youtubes.
And my 10 days trial of World of Warcraft is over and I hardly got to make use of it.

I'm already sitting under 2 aircon but I still feel warm, can you imagine those that doesnt sit under the aircon?

Its like the "start" of the week.
Feels almost like a monday, having the monday blues.

Had a wonderful long weekend.
But still feel tired.
I cant help it, I really dread coming to work everyday.

Went to Cleo's church wedding last friday, my first time attending one.
She looks beautiful and her sister looks totally like her.

Dinner with relatives on Sunday at Kushinbo (again).
Its quite good.
Forgot to wish Shirleen happy birthday.
Shucks.
So random.

Supposed to meet Loretta for swimming yesterday.
But both of us couldn't go.
So we decided to go to expo borders sales and lunch.
Loretta went crazy and started grapping and buying all the books.
Books including the history about Hitler and the stories of Marilyn Monroe's life. -.-
(Her excuse? She said she likes history and always wonder about the lives of Hitler and Monroe. Okay...)

I'm still at level 9 in World of Warcraft.
Don't really like the fact that its 3D, makes me headache to keep turning around, walking.
Still got super a lot of things which I don't understand, but I think I'm getting the hang of it.
Should go home and play a little more, before my 10 days trial ends.
And I am STILL at level 9 after so long.
And I can't be a blood elf because lousy p wants to be the good guy.
Rawr.

Anyway the dog is damn cute.
He feels cold because of the weather and because he just cut his hair short.
So he refuses to sleep on the floor or even on a cloth.
So now he sleeps on my sister's pillow with a blanket over himself.
How lucky can a dog get.

Its finally Thursday!
This week passed pretty quickly since I took leave for friday and saturday.
So I've got a shorter working day, and a super long weekend.
Plus I spent Tuesday out for meeting for half the day.
The rest of the week was basically just slacking and helping with some work for my assistant manager.

Next week will also be a short week since its also a 4 days work week.
Thanks to Hari Raya Haji.

Lousy p will be leaving on the 8th.
So I've got programmes packed for myself starting tomorrow morning.
5th: Cleo's church wedding
7th: Dinner with family & relatives
8th: Meeting Loretta
10th: Meeting (half day gone at work)
12th: Meeting (half day gone at work) + timbre dinner for Shirleen's belated birthday dinner.
13th: Overnight with the girls at gavin's house?
15th: Waraku with darlings Candice, Sheryl, Hazel and SK.
16th: Meeting (half day gone at work)
17th: Lousy p back.

This should keep me busy enough.
And hopefully this month will pass real fast.
Perhaps I might consider staying another month.

And I should start playing World of Warcraft and try to catch up with lousy p.
And maybe also start watching Twilight.

Hopefully my wireless works at home.
Lousy p and friend was trying real hard to help me fixed it. (while i was sleeping)

Sales these few days are making me real happy.
But my wallet is burning up a HUGE hole.

There's like the Charles and Keith warehouse sales that I went with Loretta.
And the Sitex IT fair and John Little Sales that I went 2 times, once with Lousy p. and another time with Hazel.
And also a few weeks back, the MPH book fair.

Bought super a lot of items.
Such a fruitful week.
Woo!

Got a pair of Charles and Keith heels at $9!!!
And 2 Charles and Keith bag at $25 and $27.
These are like my most prized possessions now.

And there is also a tiny Jacket from Esprit that I bought for $23 (original price $52) in the John Little Sales.
And my facial foam at $24.40, so I got 3, with fabulous free gifts.
And a Za Tzone peel mask at about $9 only!

Not forgetting my itouch at $348 at sitex.
After 1 whole day of deep consideration, I decided to buy it.
The biggest reason for my big burnt hole.

MPH book fair was good too.
Bought 5 books at $48.
Woo!
I'm so proud of myself.

Work has been extremely discouraging since I STILL have ZERO sales.

Out with the girls yesterday to Rochester Park.
Yummy brunch at One Rochester. Woo!
Love my mash potatoes and scramble eggs.

After that was desserts at Twelve + One.
We had lots of variety.. Serbets, tarts, cheese cake, tiramisu.
Yum. =)
The atmosphere was superb.
Its like a little cottage with all your favourite cakes and cookies.
The best place you wouldn't complaint to be stuck at because of the pouring rain.
A good place to do our catching up with allt he yummy food around you.

We then decided to leave at 4pm because Yanjing got a 10 page esssay to finish up by the next day. And I have to meet lousy p.
It was pouring and there wasn't a cab in sight.
Too broke and reluctant to call for a cab, we walked under the rain.
It was bad, and freezing cold.
But a real funny sight to see Shirleen, Yanjing, and Caron trying to hide under Shirleen's tiny jacket.

Lousy p picked me up at Jurong Point and then to his place after that.
Helped me signed up for facebook because I was too lazy to do it.

OMG I'm damn stupid.
I took the wrong shuttle bus to work along with 5 other people blur like me.
Ended up in Changi Naval Based, had to call for cab with 3 other people and was late for 6 mins.
I wonder what will hapen if i'm late?
Will they like minus from my annual leave or something?

Accounts people were talking yesterday among themselves.
Overheard them saying that that they will minus from your annual leave if you are late for 30mins or more.
Something like that.
But they will close one eye if you always work until very late.
(which i am not, I always leave on the dot. But thats also because I'm always early, other than today.)

My first time to a seminar.
Japan National Tourist Organisation hosted a seminar to promote for the year end Hokkaido attractions.
Located at Swissotel The Stamford.

My first seminar and I have to attend it alone.
I feel super out of place and didn't know what I'm supposed to do.
There wasn't a lot of people.
So I decided to run away half way, after the presentation.
I hope my company doesnt check. >.<
If not i'm going to give some lame excuses like headache etc.

Networking session, or they call it business meeting, was totally weird for me.
People mending the booths are all Japanese, and they can't speak english. =\
So I just walked one round and went to the toilet.
Then decided I should really go home.

I have some brouchers with me, so hopefully if my company ask me anything, at least i will have some brouchers to prove that I was really there.
Hopefully thats enough.

Almost late for the seminar because of the meeting before that.
I thought the meeting should only last about 5 mins, because the person in-charge wasn't very keen to see me in the first place.
In the end, they talked for more than 15mins and I was dying, worried that I was going to be late.
Hail for a cab after that and in 7mins i rushed to Swissotel.
=\ OH well.
The seminar should be much more interesting if i have someone to accompany me.
I was only there because no body in my company wanted to go, and a lot of them are out for the tour in Malaysia (which I didn't get to go but have to do all the shit work for them).

Rawr.
And I still have yet to get any sales.
If this goes on, I dont think I can stay here for long.
So how am I suppose to work 2 full years, full time, in order to get in UniSIM?

Just back from lunch at work and trying to fight the ZZZz.
And bored.
And the same old routine work.

Swimming yesterday was good even though i ended up with a really bad headache after that. =(
Swimming cap was useless since I have no idea how to wear it.
Its too tight or maybe its cause my head is too big.
My hair is going to rot from swimming. =(
All the split ends... oh cant imagine.

The water feels good but how I wish the pool has heating features.
The water was so cold I almost give up! Brr..
Nonetheless, I enjoyed the short 30mins in the pool.

Met up with Hazel, Candice and Sweekee yesterday at Timbre (again) for a post birthday 'celebration'.
We were all still pretty excited about our pohpiah skin. =)
Yes Phoebe, timbre is EVIL.

As usual, we ordered our favourite seafood pizza and roasted duck pizza (with pohpiah skin), and of course the bufflo wings.
Shared a jug of long island tea with hazel, and she was drinking like a fish again.
I only drank like a small 2.5 cup while she finished the rest.
Sweekee and Candice can only finish half a pint of their beer and their face were already tomato red. >.<
So Hazel and I decided to help then with half a cup of their beer.
HO.

We've got a good seats thanks to Hazel's reservation.
But because 4 of us got 6 seats(meaning 2 table), so the waiters decides to hurry us off by clearing our pizza plate even when we haven't finish our pizzas.
We finally got the hint when they wanted to take one of our table away.

Back on a saturday for work.
Saturdays are really peaceful with no telephones keep ringing.

Got a little sore throat, think I might have caught a cold.

Anyway, the week have been quite busy.
Done a whole lot of proposals.
Never been so hardworking in my work life.
I even have enough work for me to bring home to do!
The week past so fast it actually feels good. (even though I am still very tired)
But I still haven't gotten any sales.

AM says that I probably have to help her with things on monday.

Its my birthday for god's sake.

In the end i decided not to take annual leave on my birthday. (because I dont have much leave left)

Its so nice to see her again.

Half the people she mentioned in HTM, I have no idea who the hell they are. >.<

She is so funny telling me about the prank calls val did.
And the fact that she thinks that PSP and Nintendo DS is the SAME.

He said saw me in some commissioning video.
As long as i look pretty inside, I don't really care. hahaha

And lousy p say I'll be famous since the video would be seen by like a lot of people, and that they probably won't change the video in awhile.

Today is like a relatively so-so day.
It was still pretty boring in the morning with cold calling.
But it got busy again in the afternoon after I've gotten a sales enquiry.

And my manager also gave my another client.
A tiny one thou, but its better than nothing.

And looks like tomorrow will be quite a good day too.

Shopping at MPH and Guess for a little while, (bought a book! =) My Sister's Keepers.) before going to timbre for dinner.

Yummy crispy popiah skin on the duck pizza. Seafood pizza and Bufflo wings is good too!
3 of us ate away $114.80. -.-
Maybe like half is Hazel's expenses because she drank a sex on the beach and one JUG of long island tea. She finished both. Amazing.
So she became 10 months pregnant from all the water.

Went back to school to collect my diploma cert. Finally!

I hate internal meetings. Why call it an internal sales meeting if you speak in Japanese half of the time?
Hello. I don't understand a bit.
But I do know that you are talking about me.
It gets so irritating because you dont understand anything but you know they are talking about you.
It gives you no room for rebuttal and feedbacks.

And I don't understand why the manager have to keep asking me to check things that I CANNOT check.
The things I can help him to check are limited.
And I told him a zillion times that my side cannot check this and cannot check that, so why is he still asking me to check? Then I will have to tell him all over again that I cannot do it, and he have to check those with someone else who can check.
OH i'm talking rubbish.

Assistant manager (AM) on MC today. So I'm left with nothing to do AGAIN.
Decided to do some cold call, but only one sales enquiry.
Not a very good sales enquiry somemore.
Its so discouraging to do cold call.
Did I mention I HATE COLD CALL? Like a million times? Oh right..

AM will be back later at 4pm despite having MC and being sick.
Hardworking people in the company.
I'm the only one who takes 2 days MC because of minor illnesses.
Not that I'm planning to slog for the company. I'm not going to come to work and die early.
I'm going to make use of my 14days of MC and 10 days of leave.

I've decided to take 2 days leave next week to get my diploma cert.
Porbably on Monday and Tuesday or Tuesday and Wednesday.
I'm hope I'm not too late.
All Lousy p's fault, he keep cannot confirm his leave that I have to keep delaying taking leave.
He still can't confirm and asked me to just take my leave anyway. -.-
And if I can't get my leave, its all his fault. RAWR.

So i need to take my leave today, but I have no idea how.
I really hope that my AM comes back later so I can ask her how to take leave.
I'm also wondering whether the national day leave can be taken or not. No idea how to ask her that. >.<

2 interns from Japan came to the office yesterday.
Same age as me. Pretty girls. Here for only one month i think.
Its interesting how they get to have long talks with the GM, thinking he is teaching them some stuff.
But the GM never taught me anything when i first came.
Talk about difference in treatment. The interns get to learn but the full timer gets nothing. Maybe GM is the really prevertic one.

Super a lot of NUSSU people there, wearing all the flag day tee.
I also saw them early last morning when I was on my way to work, doing flag day asking for donations.
I swear they are EVERYWHERE. Every 10 steps I take, I see them.

Like i saw 1 at the traffic light.
Another 1 near the ATM.
Another 1 near the coffeeshop.
2 at the turn.
2 at the bus interchange.
2 at the newpaper stand.
2 and the J8 traffic light.
3 at Bishan MRT station.

Scary.

OH. I realized one bad thing about stay at the 11th floor.
Its the lift.
Like from 11th floor going down, the lift will always have to stop for people.
So the most kua zhang time was when the lift stopped 4 times.
On the 10, 8th, 7th, and 4th floor for people to get on.

I thought it will get me forever to reach the first floor.

I admit that there were more than once when I feel that I'm growing up too quickly.
I'm just not ready for grown up things like working full-time.
Its stressing me up, I think I'm going to get depression soon. >.<
The worst thing is, I don't know what I'm stress about.
Think I'm going crazy soon.
Its time to take my annual leave and get away from work.

Growing up is a pain and I am trying to get used to it.
Lots of decisions to make and I'm not the best decision maker.

I think you will only feel that you're growing up when the enviroment around you change.
Not your age. Because I never felt anything when I turn 18, and I dont think it will change when I turn 21 next year.
For most people, it only takes courage to accept changes, but for me, it takes more, it takes time.

No doubt that time has take it toll.
Changes that I've noticed, both physically and mentally.

For starters, I start to care more about my skin than I have before.
I start noticing dark circles, dull skin, blah blah blah.
And yup I started putting my masks, and putting my moisturisers on a more regular basis.
I haven't been able to stay up as late as I used to, and i'm getting headaches more frequently ever since the migrain.

Then I got more calm and less easily hype up than I used to. Expecially to people I dont really know.
So, If you were to ask me to still go for those crazy poly camp, I'd call you crazy.
It was fun, but I have no energy for that anymore.

Of course there are things that I've missed from before.
Especially my superglue buddies. I miss our earthquake session at Swensens.
Miss mugging with them for chemistry. Friends I've know for more than half of my life.
And the crazy life during secondary school days. From things like the water bombs, and the little talks. Don't think I've ever had that much tears and laughter.
And the darlings in TP for the late night projects in the school com lab. Sun bathing in the beach after school at sentosa. Subway melt every wednesday with Sheryl.

This post has nothing more than some random thoughts.
Pardon me for being emo.
I don't think I know what I'm saying. Its just all so random.

All I know is.. Before I really start to miss out on their entire life, i better meet up with them more often.
And I hope they don't miss out on my life too. =)

This was my shoutout during work.

I really had nothing to do that I had to entertain myself.

Then! I decided why not just use the time to draw SweeKee a birthday note!
I know its like an ugly picture, but oh, whatever.
Art was like my least favourite subject during the school days.
I think its even worst than history!

So this is the present that I bought for Sweekee, with Hazel sharing it with me.
Its from Heart to Heart.
It REAL DIAMOND, just that its man-made.
Thats what the person said. -.-

After all that I was still bored.
So I started to sketch my phone.
Not so bad eh.
The pencil was from the part-timer's desk, its a nice pencil to draw.
Some pencil from ACS B., dont ask me why is it there, I dont know.

PLUS. I even had enough time to change my blog skin.
HA! Okay, its it wasn't that difficult.
But I hoped someone don't catch me doing all those.
I was damn stressed.

After work its out with Hazel and Sweekee again.
Yummy food at Hong kong cafe.
My chicken chop was okay, but hazel's cutlet was better.
So we decided to exchange. HAHA.Shopping at TM again.
Finally bought my Laneige foundation at $52. I hope its a good buy.

There are so many places that I want to go now.
See and experience for myself.
Take beautiful pictures around the world.

Like going to Siem Reap in Cambodia and capture the beautiful sunset at Phnom Bakheng.
Like going for the water sports in Bintan.
Like seeing for myself the Limestone cave in Vietnam which I learnt in Geography.
Like experiencing the gala dinner in Kerambitan Village and the sunset at Tanah Lot Temple in Bali.
Like visiting the butterfly farm in Penang.
Like snorkelling at Payar Island.
Like seeing the night view of Hong Kong at Victoria peak.
Like going to the Ruins of St. Paul at Macau.
Like going to Sun Moon lake in Kaohsiung, and Taipei 101.
Like going to Caversham Wildlife Park in Perth for the Kangeroos and Kola bears.
Like going to Universal Studio in Osaka.
Like going for Ramen and hot spring in Hokkaido.
Like looking at the Oriental TV Pearl Tower in Shanghai.

Some day, I will go to these places.
And before I do that... I need to save lots of money!!

Do you have any idea how expensive air tickets and air taxes are these days?!
Going to Hokkaido by JAL can cost you about S$1400 or more!
Tax alone cost you more than S$500.

I probably need to save like 50 years before I can go all the places. -.-

2 months bonus is attractive enough for me to stay until then I guess.

But I expected it.
Some stupid company with their puney tineey budget wanted to go to cambodia with 30 people.
Then decided to go to Bintain. So I did 3 proposals for them, including Bangkok.
Now they say they have decided to let their employees pay for part of the tour fee, so they can go to better places. AND THEN, they choose another travel agency for Hongkong.

So ya! Wasted my time on doing so many irrelvant proposals.
At least tell me you wanted Hong kong so I can do a Hongkong proposal instead.

Back to work after chalet.

Just ended a hilarious mahjong session with the 'who took my fa cai' phoebe, the going to bald Xinzhan, and the full of shit until the brains Ben. Haha. Laughed the hell outta me. Had a great time with mahjong even though i am the biggest loser.

Mahjong the whole night and my eyes are drowsy. Should have listen to their advise and not come to work at all!
But I decided to come to work anyway, and took a half day leave with the excuse of going to the doc. Which is something true, and I should have done it a long time ago.

The bbq was great even thou I didnt get to eat much. Even thou the satay sauce spoil, but the food was nice. All thanks to the wonderful Yanjing and Ben for the cooking. And of course not forgetting Kuangwei who started the fire and booked the chalet.

Overall, I had much fun. =) Smile.

I'm bloody tired. 30 more mins before I am off to the doc, then home to sleep! WOOHOO!

I'm bored at work AGAIN. Only when I am bored with nothing to do, then I will remember to start posting.

How I wish I am at the chalet now instead of work. Got the urge to take half day leave just so I can go escape/wild wild wet (whichever they decide to go in the end) with the gang. OH well. But too much MCs taken, better be a good employee and not take any more. Sighs.

And I'm STILL considering whether to continue to work here after 3 months. But like what Alvin said, "If you still need to consider, then its not worth stay. If its worth staying, then there is no need to consider." Which I find is so true. BUT i'm still thinking. Maybe in the end I will, maybe in the end I won't. Who knows?! Not even me, myself.

Tralalalala, 4 hours more to the end of work! Woohoo! COUNTING DOWN.

Stone. Surprisingly, I'm not that tired. Maybe cause I finally manage to sleep more during chalet, if not for my cough and sickness. Then again, I'm not sure how long I slept. At least I am glab my cough is finally getting better. Or at least I think it is. Hopefully. Better go get my herbal tea later.

Stone-ing. After the cough mixture, its difficult not to stone and feel sleepy, especially since I have NOTHING to do now. Yawn.

Bloody shit. Stupid me bring charger to office without a 2 pin pluck. WTH. My phone is dying. Hopefully it will survive until I reach the chalet.

Its the start of June, how i wish I still have my June holidays.
Schools days seem so far away, but I still feel like a kid.

Work has just passed for a month, 2 more months to the end of my probation period. Hopefully. Still comtemplating whether I should continue to stay here after 3 months.
Its seriously a nice place to work here, with good pay and good co-workers. But I should go find a job that I really like, when I dont have to drag myself out of bed everyday. And the problem lies in I don't even know what I want to do in the future. No future goals, prospects or whatever.

Oh gosh. I'm so lost.

(*Note: I've already taken 3 days MC in a month. 11 more MCs before I run out of MCs to take for the year.)
And seriously, I dont think I give a damn if they fire me. But its not like I hate it here. Its just, I dont have the passion to continue. If I have any passion in any other job at all.

Sheesh.

But anyway. I have really been sick last week. The cough was terrible I thought I would just cough my lungs out. For evey sentence I say, I will cough for another minute. And my cough is still here. The fever was unbearable too, I was shivering the whole time while I was in the office. So i guess the 2 days MCs was unavoidable.

However, before that, the 1 day MC was just because of some lousy small little "allergy" >.<

So anyway, I at work now. Still having nothing to do while waiting for the time to pass, so I can start engaging myself in doing cold calling again.

At least I have things to look forward to. So at least this month the days will pass quicker. HOPEFULLY ALOT QUICKER. Its chalet tomorrow, lousy p. commission ceremony on the 14th, 2 yrs anniversary + father's day on the 15th, lousy p's ball on the 23rd. So lets pray June is a quick month.

Hello blog i am back. After 'N' years.

I'm at work on a saturday morning. Should be home sleeping instead.
How i miss school life. I dont wanna work. Sighs.
I'm seriously too bored at work with nothing better to do.
I don't wanna ask my manager for things to do though, he is really not my favourite person.

Anyway, a little update, for all those of you who still doesnt know...
I'm now working at a japan company, travel and tour department, doing mostly incentive trips for companies. Got a freaking position as a travel advisor, or should i say, the smallest fly in the department.

So anyway, I'm still in my probation period. 3 months, but probably quiting after. Too far away, and seriously dont like sales job? Cuz I am damn stress, like what if i cannot hit the freaking 15k target? 15k!!! Faint.

Other than that, I seriously have nobody to talk to over here. Almost everyone is Japanese. So there is only like 5 singaporeans(not even 5 Singaporeans, 1 is from malaysia) here??? 2 from accounts, 2 from ticketing, and only 1 (which is me) from sales. OMG can. Even during meetings, they talk in Japanese. How am i suppose to understand?!

AND i am doing cold call. ****ing shit! I hate cold call after Into E. Rawr~

OMG. I'm seriously DYING. I cant wait for another half an hour until i knock off from work. I can't even stand ONE day here. I miss Loretta, work without her is disasterous.

Hate the people here. Like the only nicer people are the old cleaners, the delivery people and the interns. The rest have their eyes at the top of their heads. SHEESH. SAVE ME!!!!!

Managed to have pastamania, ice monster and some Dian xin. The Yam puff was HORRIBLE, a total disappointment. Cheat me money. At least Ice monster was good. Had Ice mango with strawberry sherbet. Wahaha. Damn good, thou the mango were a bit too sour.

Woohoo! Just bought this yesterday. Have yet to open it up thou, too lazy.

Year 2 was bascially great. Met great group mates! All thanks to them for my wonderful project grades. An A for all my 2nd semester projects! Wahahaha. So its probably my exams grades which sucks. Anyway, I love them all! Especially Sweekee, paranoid at times but still she is the best group mate you can ever find. Was stuck with Sheryl for 4 semester but she never failed to bring us laughters and gossip!!! Peilin, a new found friend, good for shopping and good with lame jokes. So lets hope that i will manage to get them all in year 3 for projects! And hopefully Candice and Longxin too! that would be nice. Lol. Invincible.

Its the 23rd! And School just start. I'm now in school, just finished my 1 hour of lecture. Only 1 hour of lcture and I was late along with another half of my lecture group >.<

Lesson just ended for the day. Yup, you didnt see that wrongly, I am just here for a 1 hour lecture. Stupid? Yes I know. At elast Sheryl was clever enough to over sleep and not come for lessons today. Haven learnt anything. But ya.. at least was an entertaining lecture. Informative too. Didn't know i get elective subjects.

Probably will take tickets & reservations, cause i suck at maths and i suck at computering. LOL! So no calus and no e-business i guess.

Look! I'm finally blogging. Just had this sudden urge to blog.. rare sight i guess. Havent been updating for like.... I miss count. Okay, maybe not THAT long.

Just got home from work. 10 to 10 as usual for Teapal. Haven been working at Ong & ong architect as reception/admin. I guess i could be counted as an OL for that past 2 weeks ( or is it 3 weeks?) already. LOL. What to do? I'm broke. I still owe Yanjing, Ruth and Caron their birthday presents. And not to mention my jiemei's birthday (xinzhan) is coming on the 12th.

It has been work work work for that past few weeks. Reaching home at 11 plus everyday, bath, and sleep at 1. And waking up at 8.45 the next morning for work. The monotoneous schedule that I've already known at the back of my hands. I'm just so bored with it, makes me wonder what would work be like when i get older. Lets hope i get to stop working from the 16th onwards. I need some rejuvenation (aka S-L-E-E-P). And playing my 7 hand poker with Shirleen. And TV! Totally haven't been watching TV. I miss my Bai Fen Bai. =(

Work makes me miss school. I miss seeing Sheryl and Candice, havent been hearing much from them since exams. Got a feeling i am missing out on alot of things. School is starting on the 23rd. I cant believe work is making me miss projects as well. Its as if something is missing without all the project schedule pushing me. Kinda miss all the late night sleep for projects, waking up early, sleeping in lectures and tutorials. Okay, I probably will take my words back once all the projects start coming in. Ooo. Longxin told my freshie I was a good group mate. Hahaha! I just knew my group mates love me. >.<

Dinner with the girls last night. Dinner was horrible. Paid 35 bucks each for some worthless piece of dry either-too-salty-or-too-bland meat. Totally kenna cheated by the apparence of the resturant. And Shirleen keep laughing at me. Hahaha. fine. Cant help it of I've got a funny face. After that was dessert at Cafe Cartel. Kenna laughed by Shirleen AGAIN. Like fine! =\ I finished 3 scoops of ice cream all by myself. Wahaha. -fat-

My ??is over at Tioman now. It has been just one day and i already missed him badly. Oh well, nvm, he's coming back tomorrow night. =)

It's gonna be a busy week next week! I'm working until 6 on the weekdays, and I'm working from 10 to 10 on saturday. Gonna go satisfy Shirleen's sudden craving for chili crab on Monday. Meet up with my superglue buddies on Wednesday. Might be going out on Friday. And Sunday is the 15th! Well. Dont we all just love the 15th? Haha!

Its the dinner nightout with the girls. Went to Cosy Bay at Kallang. =) Its a pretty place. Managed to do lots of catching up with them. -sighs- It has been so long since I've seen most of them. the food was okay, but the company was great!
Got my first Levis. The present was really nice, even though its a little tight and a little short. Hahaha! Must understand that I am taller than you imagine, and I grew fatter. So change the jeans with me people! And time to really go for the dieting plan. The chocolate cake was... FATTENING! And GOSH. ITS CHOCOLATE LAR! Like.. LOTS and LOTS of CHOCOLATES. -faint-

Yup. Thats the actual day. Practically spent the whole day with my Shazi. Not that I'm complaining. =) Woke up at wee hour to try catch the sunrise at East Coast. But.... Hahaha! Its another failed attempt. Probably because we went to the wrong place. I think its just me without the fate of watching sunrise. -shrugs- But still.. Thanks for trying, its the best sunrise, even though we failed to see it. Haha.. =)

Well, got away with roller blading AGAIN. Hahaha! I'm good at this. And it rained lar! So its not really my fault. >.<>Scarlet Hotel. Desire. Yup, Nice place =) Pretty toliet. Haha! First time dining at a fine dining restauant. Sorry for making a huge hole in your pocket. Its probably the most expensive birthday I ever had. Thank you.. The necklace, the ring, the flowers.. they are all really pretty. -smiles-

Went to Mt Faber after that for like the first time in my life. Haha.. Interesting place. Its a pity we didnt get to stay there longer.

Exams are finally over! Its over!!!! All the projects and tests and papers are all over!! Well, at least for the semester. Next sem.. =( Okay, lets not spoil my hoilday mood. Whoopppss! aven't sign up the sms thing to for my exam result, better go get it done fast before it closes.

Watched Windstruck again for like the i-dunno-how-many times. Hahaha! Yup, and i watch it together with My Sassy Girl. And I thereby conclude that.. Windstuck is nicer. Five VERY IMPORTANT Lessons

1 - First Important Lesson - Cleaning Lady.

During my second month of college, our professor gave us a pop quiz. I was
a
conscientious student and had breezed through the questions until I read
the
last one:

"What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?"

Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the cleaning woman several
times.
She was tall, dark-haired and in her 50s, but how would I know her name?

I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank. Just before class
ended,
one student asked if the last question would count toward our quiz grade.

"Absolutely," said the professor. "In your careers, you will meet many
people.
All are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you
do is
smile and say "hello."

I've never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her name was Dorothy.

2. - Second Important Lesson - Pickup in the Rain

One night, at 11:30 p.m., an older African American woman was standing on
the
side of an Alabama highway trying to endure a lashing rainstorm. Her car
had
broken down and she desperately needed a ride. Soaking wet, she decided to
flag
down the next car. A young white man stopped to help her, generally unheard
of
in those conflict-filled 60s. The man took her to safety, helped her get
assistance and put her into a taxicab.

She seemed to be in a big hurry, but wrote down his address and thanked
him.
Seven days went by and a knock came on the man's door. To his surprise, a

3 - Third Important Lesson - Always remember those who serve.

In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, a 10-year-old boy
entered a
hotel coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in

of him.

"How much is an ice cream sundae?" he asked.

"Fifty cents," replied the waitress.

The little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and studied the coins in
it.

"Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?" he inquired.

By now more people were waiting for a table and the waitress was growing

4 - Fourth Important Lesson. - The obstacle in Our Path.

and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king's
wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it.
Many
loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did
anything
about getting the stone out of the way.

Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching
the
boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to
the
side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded.
After
the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in
the
road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a
note
from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the
boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned what many of us never
understand!

Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.

5 - Fifth Important Lesson - Giving When it Counts...

Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at a hospital, I got to know a
little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare serious disease. Her
only
chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year old
brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed
the
antibodies needed to combat the illness. The doctor explained the situation
to
her little brother, and asked the little boy if he would be willing to give
his
blood to his sister.

I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and
saying,
"Yes I'll do it if it's good and it will save her." As the transfusion
progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did,
seeing
the color returning to her cheek. Then his face grew pale and his smile
faded.

He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, "Will I start
to
die right away".

Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he was
going to have to give his sister all of his blood in order to save her.

Whoop! Just went to New York New York for a little belated birthday celebrate for Kuangwei. The food was okay i guess. Kuangwei was amazed by his rib and Phoebe love her chocolatey drink. The service isn't very good, or maybe its just me being too picky with the influence of HTM. Did abit of catching up, talked about secondary school and stuff. Cant help but admit. I feel old. Hahaha.

Damn. I'm turning 18 soon. So old. Lol! Okay I should just shut up.
